It can be used in three ways — making it one of the most versatile products in the African Botanics range:
As a prep step: After cleansing, mist directly over the face, neck, and décolleté or pump onto hands and press gently into skin. Follow with serums, oils, and moisturizer. It primes skin to receive subsequent actives more effectively.
As a makeup setter: Mist lightly over finished makeup to set and add a luminous, dewy finish.
As a refresher: Mist over skin at any point during the day to instantly combat dehydration and restore radiance — over or under makeup.

The Kalahari Desert Salt used in this formula is a mineral-rich salt solution sourced from South Africa's ancient Kalahari Desert. Unlike standard sodium chloride, it carries a complex of trace minerals that help restore the skin's microbiome balance and support pore clarity — working in harmony with the skin's natural surface environment rather than stripping or disrupting it.

Glutaminated Oligopeptides are low molecular weight peptides derived from White Lupine — a plant source chosen for its exceptional biocompatibility with skin. Their small molecular size allows them to penetrate effectively, where they work to repair and regenerate, boost epidermal lipid synthesis, reinforce the skin barrier, and limit trans-epidermal water loss. In practice this means skin holds hydration more effectively and becomes progressively more resilient with consistent use.

The formula contains a gentle aromatherapy blend of Chamomile and Neroli essential oils. Chamomile reduces skin inflammation and irritation; Neroli stimulates skin cell regeneration and has anti-scarring and antibacterial properties. The scent is warm and floral — not perfumed. If you have a known sensitivity to essential oils we recommend patch testing before use.
